Wattlebird is a charming 2-level bush apartment rated by AAA at 4 stars. Though without the immediate lake outlook of Oystercatcher and Cormorant bush apartments, Wattlebird offers bush views and parking immediately alongside. It has no guest neighbours. Wattlebird has a lawn with burrawangs, verandahs to north and east, outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ.

Upstairs there is a carpeted 20sq metre study-bedroom with windows to the north and east. It contains a king bed (that can be unzipped into singles if required), a built-in wardrobe, a very large library of books, TV/video/DVD, bedside tables and chairs.
Downstairs there is a good-sized bathroom containing a shower, toilet and hand basin. The separate galley kitchen, set up for 4, features an ironbark benchtop, a 2-burner LPG hotplate, a Fisher and Paykel dish-drawer, microwave/convection oven, bar fridge and plenty of storage for guest supplies. The lounge/dining area has a large north-facing window with a glass sliding door and a colonial timber and glass door to the east verandah. Wattlebird has a porcelain-tiled floor with floor rug, contains a Ned Kelly pot belly stove, comfortable double innerspring mattress sofa (and extra bed), coffee table and extra seating. It also has a radio/cd player and a TV/DVD player with a 48cm (19") lcd screen and high quality digital TV reception.
