Function tariffs and packages

Our multi-purpose Cockatoo function room is available for a wide range of uses. If your event does not seem to fit within the 3 packages (Celebration, Seminar, Bare Bones) below we will be pleased to provide you a customised quote. See capacity info under Functions tab. The tariffs below are all for off-peak period bookings and exclude overnight accommodation (see separate tariffs). Peak period (mid-December/January) tariffs for Cockatoo Room will be a little higher, seek quote.

Celebration package

Tariff calculated as follows:-  

  • Up to 80# (our max sit-down capacity): $32pp subject to min of $1300.
  • For 80-180(max)#: Finger-food function which may require additional externally-supplied servingware, $2500 + $12pp over 80.
  • Deduct $10 per person aged between 2 and 16. Infants to 2yo free/not counted.
  • Optional extras: Rising stage: $150. Tablecloth hire: $9 per cloth. Cleaning at $40ph for more than standard clean.
  • Not included extras: Accommodation including required use for 2 nights of at least Cafe Cottage and Seabird Bush Apartments; Food, drinks, staffing, celebrant, table linen, decorations, music, etc.

Celebration package includes:

  • Access to Cockatoo room from 3pm Friday to 11am (later by arrangement) Sunday and use of verandahs, lawns, gazebo, toilets.
  • Access by event caterers of your choice at your cost to Cafe Cottage commercial-standard kitchen and use of its equipment (if professional caterers are used they must carry insurance).
  • Tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glasses for up to 80.
  • Cockatoo Room servery for use as a bar and use of moveable outdoor bar and ice boxes for serving, not selling, alcohol supplied by you.
  • Audio equipment by arrangement (up to 3 mics, speakers, foldbacks, 12-channel mixer), stage lighting, mirror ball.
  • Rubbish removal.
  • After event room is to be vacated by departure time and left as found ready for standard floor and facilities clean. If not extra charge will apply.
  • But Cockatoo room not available for major birthdays under 25yo.

Seminar/workshop package

Tariff calculated as follows:-

  • For function room only. Weekday: $250 + $10pppd. Weekend: $350pd plus $18pppd. See max capacity under Function tab.
  • Deduct 10% from above total for an event of 2 days or more.
  • Add exclusive use of Cafe Cottage self-catering kitchen if group is more than 10#: Cost $6 pppd over 10.
  • Add use of at least Cafe Cottage for accommodation if event is more than 1 day.
  • Optional extras: Rising rising stage: $150.Tablecloth hire: $9 per cloth. Cleaning at $40ph for more than normal clean.
  • Not included: Food, tea, coffee not included.

Seminar package includes:

  • Access to Cockatoo Room incl servery 9am to 5pm (time variations by arrangement.)
  • Use of verandahs, lawns, gazebo, toilets.
  • Use of as many tables and/or chairs as required, self configured as desired.
  • Use of pin-board partitions for posters/photographs...these to be self erected and put away afterwards.
  • Use of servery for tea, coffee and self-supplied or externally catered meals for up to 10# (if extras Cafe use required).
  • Professional event-caterers of your own choice at your cost but must carry insurance.
  • Audio equipment, OHP, TV, DVD, whiteboard, table tennis tables X 2.
  • Free wireless internet,
  • Rubbish removal.
  • After event room is to be left as found ready for standard floor and facilities clean. If not extra charge will apply.

Bare-bones package, hourly

Tariff calculated as follows:

  • $2 per per person per hour on weekdays, $3ppph on weekends st availability and st min of $50. 
  • Add: Access to Cafe Cottage self-catering kitchen, if available, for more than 10#:  $6 pppd.
  • Optional extras: Rising stage, $150. Tablecloth hire: $9 per cloth. Cleaning at $40ph for more than normal clean.
  • Not included: Food, tea, coffee not included.

Bare Bones package includes:

  • Self organised access to Cockatoo Room (only) by arrangement and use of verandahs, lawns, gazebo, toilets.
  • Use of as many tables and/or chairs as required, self configured as desired.
  • Use of servery for tea, coffee and self-supplied food for up to 15# (if more use Cafe, extra cost as above).
  • Professional event-caterers of your own choice but must carry insurance
  • Rubbish removal.
  • After event room is to be left as found ready for standard floor and facilities clean. If not extra charge will apply.
