Function providers

List of local function providers

Though we are a self-catering cottage and function destination, guest-principals hiring our function facility and not wanting to physically cater for their own function are welcome to engage external support personnel (eg;caterers, photographers, celebrants, waiters, decorators etc). Below is a contact list of local providers who we accept as being reputable and who have expressed a willingness to be independently approached by our guests. Most have experience at our venue. Please feel free to contact them.

Insurance

Note that our insurance does not cover food, supplies or any service provided by you or external providers. You should ensure that any provider you engage does have the necessary qualifications or licences and liability insurance cover for themselves and for any staff, including workers compensation cover. If they do not and you engage people without such insurance then any and all losses or damage arising from the engagement of such providers will be the responsibility of the party hiring our venue....you.

Alcohol

Please note too that we do not have a Liquor Licence. You are welcome to provide your own alcohol to guests attending your function provided you do not sell it to them. If you are engaging waiters to serve alcohol it would be wise for you to engage staff who have Responsible Service of Alcohol certification. If you do wish to sell alcohol at a function then that cannot be done unless you have a valid event Liquor Licence....a bureaucratic process that needs to be planned months in advance and needs our consent. In all cases when alcohol is served at a function we will hold liable the party booking the premises for any problems associated with or arising from its consumption by any member of their guest party.
