For list of local function providers you may wish to engage, see below.
We are a self-catering cottage and function destination but guests not wanting to physically cater for their function are welcome to engage external support personnel (eg;caterers, photographers, celebrants, waiters, decorators etc) to deliver services here. Below is a contact list of local providers who we accept as being reputable (though we take no responsibility for the services they provide) and who have expressed a willingness to be independently approached by our guests. Most have experience at our venue. Please feel free to contact them.
Insurance
Note that our insurance does not cover risks associated with any service provided by you or any person or firm you engage to deliver services. You should ensure that any provider you engage does have the necessary qualifications or licences and sufficient current liabilityand workers compensation insurances to cover them in the event of a claim by you, one of your guests or their staff. If they do not and you engage a party without such insurance then any and all losses or damage arising from the engagement of such providers will be the responsibility of the party hiring our venue....you.
Alcohol
Please note too that we do not have a Liquor Licence. You are welcome to provide your own alcohol to guests attending your function provided you do not sell it to them. If you are engaging waiters to serve alcohol it would be wise for you to engage staff who have Responsible Service of Alcohol certification. Most external caterers can provide this service for you. If you do wish to SELL alcohol at a function then that cannot be done unless you have a valid event Liquor Licence....a bureaucratic process that needs to be planned months in advance and needs our consent. In all cases when alcohol is served at a function we will hold liable the party booking the premises for any problems associated with or arising from its consumption by any member of their guest party.

Jo has a current police check she can make available for inspection and can can mind children at Bawley Bush Cottages or elsewhere as required.

This Ulladulla based labour hire business commenced operations in 2011 to provide experienced, fully insured hospitality staff (chef's, waiters, kitchen hands, etc) on a casual basis to the hospitality industry and to casual parties. SCH is the only firm listed in this category that does not supply meals as part of their service. However their staff could prepare food supplied by you.

Starfish Deli is well-established, reputable waterfront cafe in Batemans Bay that professionally caters for off-site functions. Well experienced at using the Cafe/Cockatoo Room combination at Bawley Bush Cottages. Food options are extensive, including vegetarian. Starfish has proven willing to customise menus to exacting requirements and is willing to quote for weekday seminar meals.
